Hofbrau Wirtshaus Berlin in Berlin

I loved this restaurant, especially the atmosphere - live music, but people have fun, they sing at the table. The food is very good, also the beer!! The personnel is nice and the prices are medium. But take care, you must make on-line reservation with long time before. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

I visited Berlin in 2019 and happened to visit this amazingly huge bar. Everybody was enjoying themselves and we all had a great time. Met some interesting people and had a total blast. They serve beer in huge beer mugs and food is amazing too. Really liked the ambience. A must visit if you are in Berlin and want to hangout. Best place to be with your friends or make and join new friends if you are alone.

Not close to the original but Ok food and Ok selection of beers in a semi-Bavarian atmosphere.

Hofbräu Wirsthaus Berlin was awesome. Good Bavarian music playing with great beer and food. One more night to enjoy before things lock down again.

The Food was ok. Nice decoration was given to foods. The cheese that we ordered as appetizer was very old and not fresh. Everyone had a mask covering mouth and nose in a good way. The tables/seats were not packed too. Due to corona regulation, they had to close the restaurant at 11:00 so they started collection money at around 10:40 pm and the way the guy came to our table and behaved was rude and I didnot like it. The food price was reasonable but beer was expensive calling it Oktober festival version though there was/is no Oktoberfest due to corona! I personally liked the beer in original Hofbräu in Munich!

Food was terrible. Everything tastet like it was processed food taken straight from the freezer.. the beer was almost decent. And the service was insuffiecent.

Pretty good typical German food. The waiters are a bit rude there, but nothing that is too much. Pretty touristy place, lots of beer and live music later on after dinner time

After 5 years in Berlin it's still an awesome place even during wired Covid times! Unlike original one in Munich there's a variety of vegetarian dishes

All your basic Bayerisches food. My Spätzle was super salty but the meats are good. Beer super expensive. You go for the atmosphere, but that's missing these days...

I had beer and strudel here, it was delicious, one of the best I have ever had....staff are great, very friendly.

Very nice place,live music, good food, good beer. Atmosphere was amazing with waiters and waitress in traditional outfits! Only complain I have is that the process were high although it is expected from such known and busy place.

Absolutely great. You really get to taste German culture literally hahahha! Go for that large beer.

Great place to get food and drinks, big portions and prices pretty standard. I got the half pork knuckle with potato dumplings which was tasty and the dumplings had a good chewy texture. The kaiserschmarrn pancakes were also good, the apples and cinnamon went well with them. Definitely worth a visit to get the German experience

Good variety of beer, food is hearty - but a b8t of a tourist trap.

Very bad service. we waited for the waiters for an hour, and when he came we were told that we should cross. After that, we waited inside for another 20 minutes and left. The waiter never showed up to us. No one speaks English, and this is the center of Berlin....

Very tasty and good food, however we missed a bit of mayonaise. We were given mayonaise after asking for it, so very friendly staff.

Many were calling a tourist trap, but I have enjoyed the Bavarian atmosphere and the service was great with live music ... recommended!

Good service, food came pretty fast. One of the ladies was kinda rude but the rest of the staff was very friendly. Food was tasty and the portions were very big. And the beer, of course, was very good. All in all, I'd definitely recommend it!

Really good food, the staff was super nice and helpful. The pork knuckle was amazing, crispy outside and delicious juices coming from inside. If you are unsure about the full one or the half, I will suggest you pick the half (unless you share it between two). The spatzle are made with a delicious cheese and crispy onions, all mixing together perfectly. Try the spatzle with the knuckle and see how amazing combo it is!

One of my favourite places in Berlin. The quality of food is very high. I would recommend it!

We ordered the Classic Wiener schnitzels and it was only mildly warm when they served it. So it was basically cold. And the cold schnitzel cost like 20 EUR. For that money I would have expected something more special. I have had few very good schnitzels in my lifetime and this was not it. Very disappointing. Also they seemed to be understaffed as there was only one person serving the outside area and we needed to wait for our stuff quite some time. I do not recommend this place. There are tons of better beergardens in Berlin like Cafe am Neunsee and Prater.
